"LOVE FEiOM A STRANGER." "Love Prom a Stranger" sereens finally tQ-night. Booth Tarkingfcon 's "Clarence," the Paramouiit comedy of a family in which there is too much IqvO, canies to the Cosy Theatre to-morrow with a* cast of top comedians headed by Roscoe Karns. Evqrybody's in love in " Clarence "^-witli the wrong person, Eleanore Whitney, the daughter in the batty Wheeler family, is in love with an old codger old enough to be her father, Her brother, Johnny Downs, is in loveiwith tlie girl's governess. The butler- is in love with the maid and tlie maid is in love with Johnny. Eugene Pallette is in love with his wife, but she doesn't believo him. It is up to Karns, as "Clarence," man-of-all-work iu the Wheeler houschold, to straighten out this mess. Action, intemational intriguo and romance iu » generous portions keep Paramount's "The Girl Erom Scotland Yard," which is the second feature at the Cosy Theatre, moving at a swift pace. The picture has plenty pf thrills and chills, some excellent comedy, and a flavouring of music. The story presents Karen Morley in the title role , as an agent wiio uses her' bnauty and wit to trap the inventor of a death ray who threatens to destroy England's air force with his jnvention. Since the ray is operated at a distance and is invisible, it is not an easy job that confrpnts her.
