Man Once Deelared Habitual Criminal

WELLINGTON, This Day. Francis Henry Gordon Guildford, aged"45, who had spent all but one of the years since he was in gaol and had been once deelared an habitual criminal, was given a chance by the Chief Justice, Sir Michael Myers, when he appeared for sentence for breaking, entering and theft. Remarldng that it did not seem as if the prisoner had ever had a chance, the Judge placed hiin on probation for two years. Ho will be loolted after by the Salvation Arrny.
