SKELETONS OF EARLY BRITAIN
One Died Clutching a MuttoaBone (Received 19, 11.55 a.m.) LONDON, Aug. 18. Thirty slceletons unearthed at a burial ground at Maiden Castle, Dorchester, are expected to reveal new facfs ab'out the type of early BritOns. It is believed that the inhabitants of the liill foftress died defending the city against tho Romans. Many showed sword cuts. One was buried with a beer-mug in his right hand, and another clutching a mutton-bone.
