Heavy Bay Team to 'Meet Southland VISITORS, STRONG SIDE "This is our best team," commented Mr. W. A. H. Oliver/ one of the managers of the Southland touring Rugby team, this morning when announcing the Southland team to meet Hawke's Bay at Nelson Park, Hastings, to-morrow afternoon. The chosen iifteen includee 11 of the side whieh recently lifted the Ranfurly Shield from Otago. "It's tlie heaviest team the Bay has fielded this season," said Mr. Norman A. McKenzie, Hawke's Bay sole tselector, when announcing his team. The front row of the pack averages 14st. and the middle works out at a shade over 14st. a man.
