Used for making Stock Lick ' I IMONITE is one of the brown hydrated oxides of iron, produced by the natural processes of weftthering from the parent rocks, and contains about 60 per cent. to 80 per cent. ferric oxide. In preparing LIMONITE for consiimption as a Stock Lick, care should be taken to see that the material is not iartificially heated in order to facilitate sieving. The material must be finely ground, and Lime or S other Alkaline should not be mixed with the lick.
