Final Championship Match The final match for the Napier Golf Clut/s championship was played on the Waiohiki links during the jveekend over 36 holes between A. D. Morris and H. E. Troutbeck. The former, playing excellent golf, won four np and two to play, Starting off with very steady figures Morris quickly established a comfortable lead. Up to the seventh hole he was three under fours and maintained his good form to complete the lirst 18 holes in 76 to be five up on his opponent. in the second 18 holes in the afternoon Troutbeck showed better form, and gradually got his opponent's lead back to two up. The leeway was too much to pick up, and Morris, continuing with ! very steady golf, took the match and the 1937 championship four and two. Morris previously won the club championship in 1927. i
