HASTINGS HARRIERS
Easy Training Run The Hastings Harrier Club held a training run from the Hawke's Bay Jockey Club's racecourse on Saturday over the course to be used for the Hawke's Bay provincial championships on August 28. Owing to coun-ter-attractions, there was only a fair attendance of members, * but those present completed two laps of the course at an easy pa*e. Members will be advised of the starting-point for the run next Saturday in Eriday's papers. THURSDAY D1V1S10N The Thursday division of the club held a 4£-mile paek run from Windsor Park on Thursday. The trail led across country to Cross's Crossing and then along the Napier road to the Havelock bridge and back along the main Hastings road to tbe park. The run-in resulted: T. Hanley 1, A. de Frere 2, A. Apperley 3. Next Thursday's run is, to be from Windsor Park at 2 jj.m.
