Office-Bearers Nominated The following office-bearers have been nominated for the Hawke's Bay Jockoy Club. The election will take place on Friday, August 27, at S p.m. There will be no election for the president, vice-p'residonts or treasurer, as the samo gentlemen have not been opposed: President, Mr G. D. Boatson; vicepresidents, Messrs Geo. Ebbett and F. P. Kelly; hon. treasurer, Mr J. S. McLeod. Committee (fourteen nominations for eleven seats): Messrs J. J. Gatenby, T. H. Lowry, J. N. I.owry, T. V. Morrin, G. A. Maddisoh, J. A. McFarlane, G. W. B. McCormick, E. W.. Ormond^ T. ,S. Roulston, Hoo. IT. A. Russell, T. Sherratt, W. A. TodL J. W. Wedd and W. J. Wood.
