MAJOR MARSHALL SPEAKS AT HOME LEAGUE MEETING

* An interesting talk was given by Major Marshall on the Dionne quintupleta at a well-attended Home League meeting on Wednesday. Major Marshall had the pleasure of eeeing these five little girls, and he deseribed their wonderful playground, home and hospital. The souvenir shop and other places of interest connected with the quintuplets were mentioned, and Major . Marshall spoke of the wonderful way in which these children were being brought up to become good citizens. v The meeting opened with a hymn and prayer, and the afternoon's xoll-call included the word' "strerigth." During the meeting members handed in their thrift moneyt and it was also announced that during August two littlo girls had been dedicated by Major Marshall to the Salvation Army. Afternoon > tea -was- served by Mra Venabies and helpers, and it was announced that at next Thursday's meeting Lieut. Colonel Scotney would be the visitor for the day; also, that each text should includo the word "faith."
