At the monthly meeting of the Hau-' thoana Beaeh Imprpvemetit Society, it was deoided to place Oti recofd the services Which had heen rendered by Mr JP. El Thomson as secretary for sevCrai years. Mr Thomsqn has joined the Police Force, alid the people of' Haumoana wish him success iu the future. Linette Castlos, daughtei- of Mr and Mrs Castles, Of Haumoana, had the misfortune to fall off her bioycle and break her arm.
