WANGANUI, This Day. Stating that it was timo the Government grarited some concession in bulk powm* chargos, Mr E. Putnoll, chairman of thd Wanganui-Rangitikei Powcr Board, at the monthly meeting to-day said that the distributors of power had rodueed their chargos to consumers to approximately onc-half since electrie power was dqveloped on a national scale Some 12 years ago. Charges to distributors, however, were still made under the schedule originally drawn up by the Government and were absorbing an unduly high proportion of the incoino of tho autliorities. He considcred that early revision of the Government 's schedule of charges Was necessary in order to bjing them more into line with the progressive policy udopted by distributors of cleetric poWcr.
