The Wanganui brigade sent two men out with an engiue and saved half the works and also tho permaneut-way power-lines, Considerable damage was done to the machinery. The insurances are unavailable. New plant recently ordered has nofc ai'i'ived yet but it is oxpectbd that tho works will rosuine shortly.
