HAUMOANA CARDS
The i'ortnightly "500" eard parly in aid of the Tennis Club was held in the Haumoana Hall on Tuesday evening. There was a largo crowd present, and a .pleasant evening Was enjoyed by allj The winners of the cards were: — Ladies, Miss Moore 1, Mrs. T. Smith 2; eonsolation, Miss J. Smitli. Gentlemen, Mrs. Wells 1, Mr. Lister 2; eonsolation, Mr. K. Allington. The competition was won by Alrs. Dcuver, Awatoto. A dainty s upper was served by the iftdtet.
