, 19 H.B. Players Chosen for Training physical fitness will tell €» 5 A provisional selection of 19 players to go into training for representative iixtures was announced this morning by the sole selector of the Hawke's Bay Eugby Union, Mr. N. A. McKenzie.. The team for the match against Southland at Hastings will be chosen next wcek. In view of the heavy representative programme ahead, the selector has chosen the follo'wing players for training. He stresses that physical fitness will be the deciding' factor in the final selection, and he makes a request that all of the players mentioned should pay due attention to training during the next few days. Following are those chosen to train: Backs: Dyer (Hastings), White (Marist), Herbert (Technical), Devine (Hastings H.S.O.B.), Apsey (Hastings H.S.O.B.), Eeid (Celtic), Robins (Marist), Bradley Napier H.S.O.B.), and Clothier Napier H.S.O.B. Forwards: W. Johnson (Technical), C.* Wilson (Central. Hawke's Bay), Bowman (Technical), Griffin (Marist), Eeid (M.A.C.), J. O'Brien (Marist), Jackson (M.A.C.), Dalton ' (Technical), Hannigan (Celtic), aad Fraser (Pirates). All of these players are requestcd to attend practice at McLean Park, Napier, next Monday and Tuesday evenings at 7.30 p.m.
