Tbe penalty of the greatest immediate significanoe, however_ was that he was prohibited from ohtainingi a licenee for 12 months, so that cefote he and his companion could undertake their iengthy trip to their home on the Main Trunk, his companion, fortunatel.y a nlotorist himself, had to undergo a test with the Borougk Council's ofiicer and obtain a licence.
