Fell Into 'Patea River While Playing (By Telegraph— Press Aasociation.) NEW PLYMOUTH, Last Night. Failing into the Patea river to-day Leah Margaret Simmons, the 24-year-old child of .Mr. and Mrs. C. Simmons, was drowned. A group of children were playing on the river bank when Leah overbalaneed and fell into the water. Her body was recovered 50 yards downstream.
