JAPAN WILL LIMIT WOOL IMPORTS TO INDUSTRIAL NEEDS

It is learned from an authoritative source that the Government's policy is to treat wool as a necessity under the foreign exchange control regulation hut not to admit it without limitation. The Ministry of Commerce and Industry will regulate the quantity that can be admitted, hased on last year's >mportation in principle, but will exciuae specuiiatxve imports. The aim is to remedy the adverse trade $ balansce.
