STREAM TO BE BRIDGED
Maraekakaho-Hampden Road The Manga-o-Nuku stream, on the MaraokaKano-Hampden road, is shortly Lc be bridged. The Hawke's Bay County Council has accepted a tender of £1,800 for a bridge of three spans. To-day the couneil decided to acquire the aecessary land for the bridge site. The 20ndition of this crossing has been the . subject of complaint by certain settlers for many yeare.
