Spirit Was the subject of the LessonSermon in all Churches of Christ, Seientist, 011 Sunday, 8lh August. TJ10 Gblden Text was from I John 4:12,13. "No man halh seen God at any . . . Horeby we lcuow that we dwell in liim, and Iie in us, because ho hath given us of liis Siiirit. " Among the citations whieh comprised the Lessou-Sermon vere the following from the Bible, "Now there are diversi ties of gifts, but tlie same Spirit. For by oue Spirit are we all baptised into ono body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into ono Spirit." (I Corn. 12:4,13). Also the following passages from the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Bakor Eddy. "The scientifically Christian explanations of the nature and origin of 1 man destroy all material sense with immortal testimony. This immortal testimony ushers in the spiritual sense of being, wliich can be oblaincd in no ollier way." (p.490..
