(Received 9, 1.30 p.m.) PEIPING August 8. Four thousand Japanese troops, with full war equipment, marchcd into Pfiping, and oceupjed the rriait. Chinese' barracks in the Teniple of Ileaven, while thousands of Chinese lined the streets and xmpassively watched the eolnirm go by. The coluran was preceded by eavalry sqnadrons, and accompanied bv 15 tanks, ten heavy guns and 80 supply lorries.
