CAR OVER BANK
Skids at Bend in Devil's Elbow THREE MEN SLIGHTLY INJURED Three Napier men. suffered minor injuries when the car in which they were driving skidded over a bend at the Devil's Elbow, on the Napier-Wairoa road, at exght o 'clock on Saturday night. The car was slightly damaged. The car, driven by Mr Joseph Robert Hamilton, of 35 George 's Drive, Napier, with Mr Arthur Reid and Mr George Phelps, both of Napier, as passengers, was travelling towards Napier when it skidded in loose metal on the side of the road and plunged down a 28-foot bank, comiug to rest with its wheele in the air. The three oceupants all received cuts and bruises of % minor nature, and although they were able to right the vehiele they could not get it back on to the road. The car was hauled on to the road and driven back to Napier on Sunday morning.
