HOME AND SCHOOL LEAGUE
Tlie Home and School League field its usual fortnigfitly card evening and dance in tfie Waipukurau District Higfi Scfiool on Friday, there being oniy a moderate attendance. Tea tables wore occupied in tfie card-room, and tfie winners were Mesdames J. MeCarthy and J. Dunlop, and Messrs M. Robinsoii and P. James. Music for daneing was played by Mrs Lovell, and tfie Home and Scfiool committee members were in efiarge of tfie eupper-room, ' .
