Recently an R.A.F. aeroplane crashed into a house at Ticehurst, in Sussex, England. After the machine had smashed into the roof of the cottage the-pilot and his observer climbed out of the machine unhurt. Fortunately the portion of the house where the crash occurred was unoccupied at the time.
