The Napier Harriers held their club championsh'ipS on Saturday afternoon over -their- new championship course of 10,000 metres (6£ miles) from the motor camping-ground at Marewa. A large nuniber of runne'rs faced the starteri for both grades. Owing to" a heavy, wiud' blowing and, the sandy natiire of ihe ground times wero not as fast as expected. ' The results of the both grades were as follow: — A GRADE CHAMPIONSHIP A. G. Huglies (38min. 55see.) 1 L. Hatch (40min, 9secs.) 2 G. Denford (40uiin. 27secs) u B. Reid ' 4 F. Brock '3 B' GRADE CHAMPIONSHIP I. Reading' (40min. ,364 ecs.) 1 R. Stiachan (42min. 29secs.) 2 W. Smith (42min. 35secs.) 3 L. Gree'n (45min. 354secs.) 4 R. Leckie / 5 Next vveeli 's run will be a paclt run.
