WELLINGTON, Last Night. In spite of threatening rain there was a large attendance in the Town Hall tMs afternoon at a civic reception to the Springboks. Addresses of weleome were given by the Mayor, Mr. T. C. A. Hislop, and the president of the .Wellington Rugby Union, Mr. D. M. Prendeville.
