OBITUARY

MR. E. W. JONES Mr Ernest William Jones, aged 62 years, husband of Mrs Alice Jones, of 14 Ashridge road, Napier, passed away at the Napier Public Hospital on Thursday, after an illness which had extended over 18 months. The late Mr Jones was a resident of Napier for over 20 yeari, being employed sby the Napier City Council Tramways Pepdrtment until the earthquake as car-shed foroman, continuing his eraployment with the council until a few years ago. Ho was Also an enthusiastic breeder, and succcSsful exhibitor of poultry. Tho sympathy of a wide circle of friends will be extended to bis widow in her sad bercavement.
