Despite opposition from Victoria, the lAustralian Cricket Board of Control is expeeted to agree to an invitation being sent to the Kew ■ Zealand cricket team to play here on tlieir -syay home from England. Macartney, writing - in the Sydney Morning Herald, urges that the proposed tour be approvcd, as it would be fef assistance to both Austraiian and Kew Zealand players. Victorian members of the board are opposed to the proposal. Dr. Morton «aid that a better propdsition would be for Kew Zealand to send a team to Sydney for an anniversary match nest February.
