WOMEN'S INSTITUTE GREENMEADOWS CONCERT

On Tuesday evening the Greenmeadows Women's Institute drama circle gave its annual concert. There. was a large attendance -nad everything went off with a swing. Miss Joy Burton commenced the programme with piauoforte solos, followed by a humorous sketph "Gold Comf orts. ' 1 Tbose. taking part were Mesdames Scott, Martin, Soullin, Wright, Goodall, Toucher and Howarth. Another- humorous skotch followed called "figsl ' ' This was aoted by Mosdamea Wright, McAulay and Scott. Miss Nan Neigal gave thp elocutionaiy items of the evening, both humorous and dramatic, while Mies, Ewa.n delighted the audience with her daneing. Mrs. Martin, in her own jolly way, imitated Miss Ewan in a slripping dance, and to judge by the audience the dance was a success. Songs were sung by the circle led by Mesdames Armstrong and Pollock. These two ladies also sang songs in character. Mrs. Goodall played the leading part in a drama "Men for Pieoeg,,, the other various paris haing taken by Mesdames Scott, Martin and Wright. Thp final humorous play was called "The Green Monkey." The main parts were taken by Meadames Toucher and McAulay, assiste-l by Mesdames Paton, Scullin, Howarth and Kane.
