High Prices Realised

DANNEVIRKE, Last Night. Some of the values recorded at the Dannevirke stock salo to-day wero tko best realised for many years. Under strong competition all classes of sheep, and particularly hoggets brought increased prices. The sale was well attended, many outside buyers being present. A good line of ewe hoggets offered on behalf of Mr J.'Farrell, Tiratu, realised 41/-. Following is a summary of the salos made Five-year ewes, r.w. S.D. rams 28/to 30/8; ewe hoggets, 36/- to 41/-; wether hoggets, 21/- to 24/10; fat ewes, 30/- to 33/- : prime wethers, 40/-. •Fat cows, £3 15/- to £7; fat bullocks, £11 ; springing heifers, £5 10/to £7 5/-; springing, cows, £5. to £7 15/- ; store cows 35/- to £2 17/6. Sows, due to iurrow £2 5/- to £3; sow with • litter, £4. Wcaner ^igs, 18/- to 21/6.
