KING OF POLAND

Invitation to Duke of Kent (Eeceived 5, 8.45 an..) LONDON, Aug. 4. The Daily Mirror's Warsaw correspondent reports that the executive of the Polish Monarchist Party passed a resolution inviting the Duke of Kent to "accept the Polish throne which has been vacant since 1795. The resolution is being sent to the Duke of Kent who is at present visiting Southern Poland. The Monarchist organ Glos points out that Poland is situated between Eussia and Germany. ''If Poland had the Duke of Kent as king she would be linked with the world's greatest Empire and greatest democracy. The Duke of Kent possesses all the attributes for monarehy.
