She had called the world's fattest sisters 'n her defence, but the larger was unable to climb the stairs to the ^ courtroom. The lesser, weighing half a ton, mauaged to climb up, helpod by several strong men. She squeezed through the door and collapsed pantinc at the Bench. Four midgets were also witnesses, but all the effort was in vain when it was found that the giantess was able to speak only Hungarian, and as no interpreter was present an adjourninent was necessary.
