Mrs O. O. Moller, of Hastings, has returned from a brief visit to Wellington ^ Mr and Mrs J. Alexander, Rangitaiki Hotel, are visitors to Cliristchuroh for National race week, Sister Barton, who has been the gucst of Mrs A. M. Williams, of Napier, has returned to Dannevirke. Miss Eve Lott, who has been on the staff of Messrs J. R. Ross and Co., Napier, for the past five years, and whose marriage to Mr R. Elmes takes place tliis month, was the recipient of a silver tea service from the firin and employees before her departure. Mr A. Fenton made' tho presentation and wished Miss liott liiuch future happiness. Miss Lott suitably replied. Mi's G. Mortimer-Jones, the Ficarage, Hastings, is spenduig a montli's lioliday in Auckland. Sbe visited her brother. Mr A. Mattliews, in Hamilton, and is now tbe guest of Mrs Trevor Simpson, Remuera.
