WAIPUKURAU, This Day. The Central Hawke's Bay branch of the Women 's Division of the Farmers' Union, iield their usnal monthly meeting in the social room of the Women 's Best, Waipukurau, Mrs T. Groomo presiding over the following members;— Mesdaines A. Edgar, A. D. Wallaee, J. C. Nicholls, J. A. Grant, H. P. Hole, G._F. Kennedy, Misses Beaehen, Nola Williams, and the secretary, Miss E. Grant, Apologies wero received from Mesdaines G. T. Jamiesou, E. Colo, M., Tausey, T. Geenty, F. Phillipson, F. llewitt, and P. F. Wall. A cordial welcouie was extended to Mesdaines C. J, Williams and V. Stratford, two newly-clected members, Aftor routiue business -had been disposed of, Miss Beaehen, deiegate to the Dominion conference held in Wellington, gave a very full and most interesting report on the conference.
