FAILED TO GIVE WAY
For failing to givo way to 'a vehicle approaching from tho right at an intersection, Ernest Greville, f'aa-m labourer, of Hastings, was fined £1, with costs 10/-, by Mr. J. Miller, S.M., in the Hastings Magistrate 's Court this morning. Defendant pleaded guilty by letter and asked for lenient treatment. Senior-Sergeant G. Sivyer said that defenaaut was driving (aTong Raihvay road, Hastings, and eollided with a car approaching from his right-hand side. Little damage was done. and tli(. defendant had admitted frankly that he was in the wrong. There was no suggestion of speed. '
