Hallett, who appeaxed ' for the defendant, said that defendant. had been sldghtly under ihe inffuence of driak at the time. The account at the bank had nevqr been formally closed, and he. might have belieyed ih£|t - it was still operating. He ^kfd leniency and suggested that probntion might meet the case.
