WHANGAREI, Last Night. Tho work of unwatering the Hikurangi Goal Company's mine at Waro, Hikurangi, is proceeding satisfactorily. Altogether 30 men are engaged^ and the large pump which was installed and brought into action a week ago has been sending out 24,000 gallons of water an hour. It is expected to have a sccond pump operating next week, •and tho mine unwatered before the end of August.
