Idle Cream Lorries Dissatisfaction with the decision of the No, 1 Transport Licensing Authority in refusing to grant goods licences to the company's cream carriers was expressed at the annual meeting) of suppliers to the Hineuera Co-operative Dairy Co., Ltd., Hamilton. Mr. P. 11 . Hawke, a director, said it was not in accordance with "the policy of the Government. which was advocating efficiency and economy to have mqn and cream lorries idle after delivering the morning's supply of cream. The meeting resolved. to appeal • against the authority's decision to the Minister of Transport, and, if unsuccessful, to make representations to Cabinet.
