Yestorday a very pleasant day was epent on the Maharakeke links, when an inter-club match was played bctween teams from the Napier Ladies' Golf Club and the Waipukurau Ladies5 Club, the Waipukurau club being the winners. At the conclusion of the day5s play Mrs Holmes, speaking on behalf of tho ^Napier team, thanked the Waipukurau players for the most enjoyabie day. Mass Speedy suitably replied. Following is.a summary of the mateh, Napier players being mentioned first: — Mrs Ellison beat Miss A.
