Yestorday a very pleasant day was epent on the Maharakeke links, when an inter-club match was played bctween teams from the Napier Ladies' Golf Club and the Waipukurau Ladies5 Club, the Waipukurau club being the winners. At the conclusion of the day5s play Mrs Holmes, speaking on behalf of tho ^Napier team, thanked the Waipukurau players for the most enjoyabie day. Mass Speedy suitably replied. Following is.a summary of the mateh, Napier players being mentioned first: — Mrs Ellison beat Miss A. Tareha; Miss Dalgleish beat Miss Billington; Mrs Holmes beat Miss Main; Mrs Tizard lost to Miss 'Butler; Miss Lopdell beat Mrs Urquhart; Mrs Phillip lost to Miss Speedy; Mrs McKinley lost to Mrs Schroder; iliss J. Mastersoa lost to Miss Moorhead; Mrs Dalgleish lost to Miss Eood; Mrs Deighton beat Miss Riddell; Miss T.
