Parishioners' Meeting The annual meeting of St. John's parishioners took pface in St. John's Hall. Dean Brocklehurst ocuupied the chair aird there wais a fair artendanee. After reviewing the church activiti.es for the year, the report and. balancesheet wero adopted. The latter proved very satisfactory, as it is the first time since the earthquake that a credit balance had been recorded on the year's workmg. The sum of £113 6/- had been given to foreign missions and the sum of £234 1/1 cantributed to the general diocesan fund. "Mr E. R. S. Dale wao appointed vicar's warden and Mr W. Poel parishioners5 warden. The following were elected members of the vestry: — Messrs R. E. H. Pilson, W. H. Jones, E. Morgan, R. Hansard, H. Reaney, W. Newton, T. Boldt and Dr. R, 1. Sutton. The Synod representatives elected were: — Messrs R, E. H. Pilson, E. R. S. Dale, W. H. Jones, and H. J, Bull. Speedal votes of thanks were moved to the churchwardens and vestrymen, the treagurer, Sunday school teachers, choir, altar decorators, Parish News contributors— and all who bad rendered service to tho church.
