Driver's Wife in Hospital

DANNEVIRKE, Aug. 3. A motor accident occurred on the Weber main highway, near Mangatoro, shortly after 5.30 last evening, when a car driven by Mr. E. H. Morgan, of Wimbledon, who was returning home from Dannevirke with his wife and little girl, went over a deep bank, after somersaulting three or four times. Mrs. Morgan received cuts about the body, while Mr. Morgan escaped with a severe Sbaking and some bruises. Mr. H. Riddell, who was in the vicinity, got in touch with Mr. D. Grant, who conveyed Mrs. Morgan to the Rawhiti private hospital, where she is a patient. Her condition to-day was reported to be quite satisfaetory. Mr. Morgan is resting at the Club Hotel, being confined to bed. The little girl was uninjured.
