TAKAPAU, Last Night. Following is the result of the golf mateh played at Takapau on Friday between the Waipukurau and Takapau ladies' golf clubs, the local teain being" strengtkeiied by soven players ffom Dannevirke Tho day was an ideal one, with the links in splendid order. Miss Speedy, captain of the Waipukurau Olub, thanked the lodal club for such an enjoyable match, and for the' hospitality extended to the visitors. Mrs. W. Ilobson made a suitable reply, on behalf of the Takapau Club. The visitors Wou by eight games. Details : — Miss Pinkney lost to Miss A.
