WELLINGTON, Last Night. Twenty players have been chosen by the New Zealand Rugby Union seleetors to train at Otaki in preparation for the first tesc against the South Africans at Wellington on August 14 An additional pl&yer will be chosen later in the week. The absentee from the list is the All Black N. A. Mitchell, who pulled a leg musele during the All Black trials. He turned out on Saturday for Southland in the Ranfurly Shield match againsf Otago and was forced to retire. „ The selected players are: Full-back: J. Taylor (Otago). Three-qkuarters: D. G. Cobden (Canterbury), J. Diek (Auckland), T. G Morrison (South Oahterbury) and J. I* Sullivan (Taranaki). Five-eighths: J. A. Hooper (Canterbury), D. Trevathan (Otago) and G. Crossman (King Country). Half-baek: H. Simon. (Otago). Forwards: R. Lambourn (Wellington) D. Dalton (Hawke's Bay), T. Pearce (Auckland), E. S. Jackson (Hawke's Bay), R. R. King (West Coast), S. T Reid (Hawke's Bay), H. Milliken (Canterbury), R. M. McKenzie (Manawatu), J. G. Rankin (Canterbury), R. H. Ward (Southland), and A. A. Parkhill (Otago).
