A letter from the president of the Board of Trade, Mr Oliver Stanley, expresslng the willingness of vthe Government to introduce the necessary legislation in parliament for the purpose of facllitating the reorganisation of the cotton industry on lines which the industry could agree upon, and of which the Government and Parliament could approve, was read at a meeting of the joint committee of cotton trade representatives at Manchester.
