It is reported from Lisbon that GeUeral Franco has withdrawn part of his forces operating in the Brunete region to Santander and intends to complete his eonqueSts in the north during August. A pincer operation by General Franco 's troops broke the loyalist stranglehold on the rebel city of Teruel, cavalry and a flying Column of infantry jpursuing 4000 retreating loyalistS, eapturing hundreds.
