THURSDAY'S R.S.A. BALL

• Special Musical Numbers ATTRACTIVE PROGRAMME The programme committee for the R.S.A. ball, which takes place in the Assembly Hall, Hastings, next Thursday, has arranged' a very attractive programme and has introduced many special musical numbers. Having in mind the attendance of 800 or so people at previous balls, it has introduced dances for the pleasure of everyone. The young people are very well catered for in having been given some very new dances tunes, and the older people have some very old favourites which are always so delightful in that they recall very many happy memories. The programme which has been arranged is as follows:— Waltz, foxtrot, lancers, waltz, one-step, valeta, foxtrot, military two-step, one-step, waltz, alberts, maxina, waltz, schottiselie, onestep, military two-step, fox-trot, valeta, one-step, waltz. iFive supper extras will also be played, these being fQstrot, valeta, waltz, schottische, onestep. 3

The same amount of care and thoughtfulness lias been given by tho other committees in regard to the decoration details — supper and other ractors which have iu past years gone to make this function such a mcinorable one — and there is no doubt that those attending the ball will have the same great pleasure and enjoyment this year. Only a few days have to pass before ihe notable event takes place. It is always one of the highlights of the dancing season, and Thursday night should be kept free by those who not only wish to have a real night of fun and gaiety but who, by doing so, wil] help in assisting the R.S.A. in their 3plendid work of aiding returned soldiers in less fortuqate circuinstances i than themselyes, .
