DISTURBANCE AT BALL
Man Charged with Assault A disturbance at the Port Ahuriri ball during the eifely hours of this morning resulted in the appearance before Mr F. J. Aunan, J.P., in the Napier Police Court this morning of Clifford Georgo Pearce, a salesman r.ged 26. He was charged first with assaulting Mason Tihema by kicking him in tlie 1'ace and socondly with comlnitting a grossly indecent offonco. On the application of ^ergean. G F. Bonisch, representing - the police, Pearce was remanded until Monday n.oriung.
