TICKET SELLERS RECORD

£155 Raised for Blind Institute Mr Earnest G. Marsh, of Waipukurau, who has held the proud record of being the best ticket-seller for the Blind institute in its annual art unions for the past seven years, has compiled a further new record this year. His saies for the year are 3100 tickets, and as each ticket is valued at 1/- the amount realised by Mr Marsh was £155. This marks an increase on last year's saies of 500 tickets and marks a record for Mr Marsh. Mr Marsh is a wellknown personage in Central Hawke's Bay, and although blind he finds his way'about unattended. His endeavours to sell as greafc a number of tickets as possible takes hiin as far afield as Palmerston North and Napier.
