British & American Planes SIMULTANEOUS ARRIVALS

(Received 31, 12.30 p.m.) RUGBY, July 30. The Imperial Airways plaue Cambria and the Pan-American Clipper reached their respective destanations within 10 minutes of each other after another experimental trans-Atlantic flight. Wire ess contaets were maintained throughout their journeys by both craft, which passed oue another in midAtlantic shortly before ' dawn, whon they were eight miles apart. The Cambrda arxived at Newfoundland at 5 a.m. Eaistern Standard Time. taking 14 hqurs 48 minutes on the journey from Foynes, Ireland. She reported that heavy head winds were encountered en route.
