The match set down for Aramoana this week-ejid has been postponed to a later date, ANNUAL TOURNAMENT Prpspects jfor the annual tournainent comjnencing on Saturday of next week- are exceptionally bright, and a largie uumber of players from outside cluhs have assured the committee of their nomination. Entries are also assured from the club members, a reqord number having requested entry fornh. Early entry will be of considerable assistanqe 'to the committee and entrants' efforts in this direetion would be greatly appreciated. The course is now • in excellent condition and a working bee for next week will be engaged in finishing oflt the gireens and approacbea, OLUB CHAMPIONSH1PS. FUrther elimination rounds played in the club ehampionships on Wednesday last resulted as follows: — Bishop beat Bryant after a doughty .tussle which ended at the 23rd. hole, with a margin of 1 up. Surridge beat Mitcbell. Woods beat* Jopson. Tbe final pf 'the championship for the Wednesday section of the senior competition will be played over tbe week'end, also the gemi-Jiual of th^ F.M/T, Cup in the same secfcien.
