TO-MORROW'S RUGBY
M.A.C. to Meet Havelock North HASTINGS SENIOR FIXTURES The senjor Rugby matches to be placed at Nelson Park, Hastings, at 3 p.m. to-morrow are as follow : — M.A.C. v. Havelock North; referee, Mr A. Kirkpatrick. Hastings v. Hastings Old Boys ; rerefee, Mr J. Scott. Ball boys: Havelock North School. The main attraction will be the game between M.A.C. and Havelock North. ln their last outing the Villagers held a lead over the Maoris for three parts of the game, and it was not till then that the Maoris took the upper hand. The Villagers are steadily improving and should provide strong opposition for the M.A.C. side. With Reid and Jackson back from the trials to strengthen them, the Maoris will be out to hold their. position on the ladder. An evenly-contested game should resuit. Un the adjourning area, Hastings and Hastings Old Boys will clash, and this also should be an interesting encounfcer. Both teams have been inconsistent this year but to-morrow may turn on another of their good games, as both sides favour the open game. For the early arrivals there will be a third-grade game on No 1 ground at 1.30 between Havelock North and Old Boyg to decide the third-grade final and on No 2 a fourth-grade game between Hastings and Celtic.
